Hot and Spicy

Today for dinner I made a chicken and Andouille Sausage stew.

At the dinner table the comment came up that I make the same thing (stew) in different varieties. I guess that's a suggestion to change it up. But you have to admit sometimes the slow cooker is the way to go in this fast paced world. Spend 20 - 25 minutes of prep in the morning, come home at night to dinner.

If you try this recipe at home, be warned that it is spicy. You many not need all the ingredients. That said, both Marco and I enjoyed it.

2 Organic Chicken Breasts
4 Organic Andouille Sausage links
1 Red Onion Organic
2 cloves garlic
3 celery stocks chopped
2 carrots chopped
Green and Yellow beans lots
1/2 quart of broth orgainic
2 cups of water
Salt, Pepper, Chili Pepper (you may skip this), Thyme
Cook on low 7-8 hours.

The house was quite fragrant when we got home and the dinner hit the spot.

It's a good life....
Dave
